Our little green home is ready to host you along the Northern Aegean coast within the Alexandria Troya (40 km), Assos (22km) and Apollon Smintheus (4km) triangle, 70 km from the ancient city of Troy, known for being the setting of the Trojan War described in the Greek Epic Cycle and especially in the Iliad, one of the two epic poems attributed to Homer, 75 km from the Kaz Mountain National Park (Mount Ida), 100 km from Gallipoli War Site and Memorials, 278 km from Izmir, 445 km from Istanbul, located in a little modest village facing the Aegean Sea, surrounded by olive groves and pine forest where you'll enjoy a stress-free get-away in a pristine quiet and natural environment. Our little green home can accommodate two to four people at a time in two bedrooms with double bed. Kids and pets are welcomed.
How to get home;
For our guests driving from İSTANBUL, the route through Tekirdağ is recommended. On that route you have to take ferry from Gelibolu to Lapseki or from Eceabat or Kilitbahir to Çanakkale.
For our guests driving from IZMIR, follow the coastline till you reach Küçükkuyu. After Küçükkuyu, follow the signs for Assos/Behramkale to the left, you should see the sign just after passing town center, before the road starts inclining. After Behramkale follow the road to Gulpınar/Apollon Smintheus, Kocaköy is the 6th village on that road after Bademli.
For our guests driving from ANKARA, just reach to the coastline through Balıkesir, Edremit, Altınoluk, follow that road till you reach Küçükkuyu. After Küçükkuyu, follow the signs for Assos/Behramkale to the left, you should see the sign just after passing town center, before the road starts inclining. After Behramkale follow the road to Gulpınar/Apollon Smintheus, Kocaköy is the 6th village on that road after Bademli.
After Çanakkale follow the main road to Izmir direction. After Ezine take the coastal road towards Gülpınar and Apollon Smintheus. Kocaköy is the first village on the from Gülpınar to Assos direction. The other option is after Ezine continue on the main road follow Assos/Behramkale through Ayvacık. From Behramkale follow the road to Gulpınar/Apollon Smintheus, Kocaköy is the 6th village on that road after Bademli.

YanıtlaSilC'est un endroit magnifique nous étions tres tres heureux de rester ici trois amis. La vue sur la vallée est sublime ainsi que tous les détails de la maison que Mme. Odonovan a fait d'une maniere tres esthetique. Il ne suffit pas de rester une ou deux jours il faut vraiment profiter de la maison pour au moins une semaine. Il y a bcp de choses a faire aux entourages. Vous pouvez faire un petit tour dans le village constitué des maisons en Pierre, voir les puits que les Gênois avaient construites et qui marchent encore. Goutes les délices de la région… Aller se baigner a Akliman ou encore a Sokakağzı (deux endroits toute proche du village)… Mais aussi de manger de magnifiques crustacés et poisson a Babakale. L’endroit est hyper calme. Vous dormez sous les étoiles, l’air est püre… Et vous entendez de centaines de chants d’oiseaux differents! Bref ! Un endroit a tomber amoureux qui prolonge l’estimation de la durée de votre vie c’est sûr. Merci Mme.Odonovan! Nous vous révisiterons tres prochainement…

Istanbul'un kaosundan kaçmak için daha mükemmel bir yer bilmiyorum. Her türlü ayrintinin düşünüldüğü, küçük bir köyde bir taş ev bu kadar zevkle tasarlanabilir. Kusursuzca döşenmiş bir ev olmasinin yani sira her ayrintinin varolmasi da kendinizi evinizde hissettiriyor. Evin bahceside en az evin ici kadar olaganustu. Bahcesinde zerafetle ekilmis domatesler ve karpuzlari koparmaya kiyamiyorsunuz, sanki birer sus:) ayrica oranin nefis sarabi eşliğinde batirilan güneşin sefasi anlatilmaz yasanilir. guzel bir hafta sonu gecirelebilecek bu sahane evi tasarladigi ve bunu bizlerle paylastigi icin berna hanima tesekur ederim. Ayrica uzaktan dahi tum samimiyetiyle misafirperverligini gösterdiği icinde Teşekkür ediyorum.Tekrar orada olacağım zamanı iple çekiyorum. Sevgilerimle

SilLovely and inspiring home for everyone who is looking for a inner journey. Think about a place which holds your hands and takes you away with your dreams..timeless but a deep consciousness energy around you. Your foot on the ground connected with the earth your mind on the air connected with human sprit. Not just a stone house, a meeting point and a gate to the human existence. Yes it was just 2 days trip breaking away from the chaos of Istanbul, yes the village and the design and the comfort of the house was perfect but you must be aware of the energy which attracks you, pushes you to question the meaningless of mega city life, contaminated system of nowadays.

I'm glad you also felt the energy in the village and the house, it is one of the oldest villages in the area and unfortunatly young generations have left. The village seems sad and lonely. I'm doing my best to bring life, sharing our home is one of the ways. I'm not only sharing a house also sharing my pleasure while living there, every second of it; waking up hearing the birds, breakfast under the almond tree, watching the wildlife sipini my coffee, getting busy with my garden through the day, watching the magnificent sunset at the end of the day, watching the falling stars at night. Every moment is so special. I'm also sharing this with my guests. I'm trying my guests what life means. I want them to realize there is another option, life is not what we think we are living in big cities where I also came from. I'm happy to create a recognition about life can be simple and easy, can be lived in peace,..
